Rules & Guidelines for College Library:-
- Every student can borrow maximum 2 books at a time depending upon the availability of the same in the Library for 30 days by producing their Library Cards at Circulation Section. No book will be issued without the Library Card.
- Students’ Library Cards are not transferable.
- Fine of Re. 1/- per day will be charged for entire period of delay after normal Lending period is over.
- While entering in the library, for whatever purpose, every student has to deposit their belongings to the Property Counter which is monitored by CCTV surveillance.
- While entering in the library, for whatever purpose, every student has to sign in the Attendance Register properly.
- Student can re-issue his/her Lending book(s) for maximum 2 times provided that the book(s) has/have not been on demand by any other member of the library.
- Full time teachers and SACT are allowed to lend maximum 20 and 10 books respectively from the Library.
- No Journal/ Magazine/ Costly Reference Book will be issued for home use either to the students or to the faculties.
- In case of any emergency, special permission has to be taken from the Principal.
- Students are advised to handle the library books with the utmost care and caution. In case of any damage (i.e. tearing the pages of books, defacing, mutilating etc.) full value of the book at the current market value will be charged for such damage.
- Students should handle Library Cards which are attached with their Almanac with care. If Library card be lost or damaged, the duplicate one will be issued against a fine of Rs. 100/- (One hundred only).
- Borrowed books are to be returned before appearing in any Semester end Examination. No mark sheet will be issued unless library clearance issued by the Librarian.
- Keep silence in the Library. Talking, sleeping, smoking and loitering are strictly prohibited within the Library and in and around the teachers & students Reading Halls.
